Moved … the blog
For the sake of easier posting because when I put this thing up I kind of forgot that Tumblr does Group Tumblogs. Duh … I’m an idjit. So, come follow us here.

My new favorite food - the shawafel (felafel + shwarma ) from Chickpea
That looks tasty. It reminds me that when we move I need to renew my search for the schwarma like I had it that year my family lived in Saudi. Every schwarma I’ve gotten in America looks like this, the schwarma I fell in love with more resembled a burrito. The only thing I miss about that country (though, the thunderstorms were pretty awesome).
We went to Moose’s Tooth, Sean had their High Protein Land Pizza (minus the peppers) and Jess had some kind of unamerican leafy dish with oranges on it. Other than that it’s just been coffee and booze all day.
No dick.
I ate a dick.

I ate ice cream.
i 8 a whompmonster rainbow roll and a spicy shrimp roll today. i’ll probably 8 a jamaican beef patty doused with sriracha hot sauce in a little bit. god damn i love them things.
So, the strategy is “sell everything.” My co-worker has been quite helpful lately with the strategy. Today she bought my bike. I’m a hair from getting her to buy a laptop. Tonight, she said she’d take my LPs off my hands now. I’m a bit reluctant to give them up. THRILLER. I have Thriller on vinyl. I fucking love Thriller. Still, I don’t have a turntable and probably won’t be getting one. Also, the cash will be good for the “Sean and Jess don’t starve to death in New York fund.”
Sigh … I will miss you Thriller. I will miss you.
This weekend was mixed. I re-connected with an old friend, got some things done, and watched a lot of good movies with Jess. This morning, though, we got a call from our friend Karen. Her husband, Jeff, was diagnosed with Liver Cancer a few months ago. They’d been pursuing treatment but a lot of options had been closed. It was an aggressive cancer. Jeff died in England this morning. They’d been on a trip there. It was one of those trips to see all those things he wanted to see before he died trips. He saw a lot of them and I’m glad he did.
Jeff was a good guy. He was smart, he had a good sense of humor, he didn’t always get along with everyone but he was a straight shooter and I liked that about him. Jeff was a friend. I’m going to miss him. We’re going to miss him. People shouldn’t die.
